Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the chicken is no longer pink, and the cheese is browned. (40 minutes)
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of black pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the soup mixture.
If you don't have French-style green beans, regular cut green beans will also work.
Feel free to substitute the cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom or cream of celery for a different flavor profile.
To make ahead, assemble the casserole and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours before baking. Add about 10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
For a crisper topping, mix the Parmesan cheese with some breadcrumbs before sprinkling over the casserole.
