Follow The Directions

01

Step
7 mins

In a food processor, combine the cranberries, pears, apples, orange segments, and lemon segments. Pulse until finely chopped, achieving a coarse, even consistency. (Approximately 5-7 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

Transfer the mixture to a large glass bowl. Stir in the granulated sugar, orange zest, and lemon zest until well combined. (Approximately 2 minutes)

03

Step
1 mins

Pour in the brandy and cranberry juice, stirring gently to incorporate all ingredients. (Approximately 1 minute)

04

Step
24 hrs

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the relish to prevent oxidation. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld and intensify. (24 hours)

For a smoother relish, process the ingredients a little longer. For a chunkier texture, pulse for a shorter time.
Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar to your liking, depending on the tartness of the cranberries and your preferred level of sweetness.
If you don't have brandy on hand, you can substitute it with orange liqueur or simply omit it altogether.
This relish can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
