For a more intense flavor, try using a coarse-ground Dijon mustard. If you don't have Havarti, Swiss or provolone cheese also work well. Feel free to add other toppings such as crispy fried onions or a drizzle of honey. Sliders are best served warm.
Elevate your holiday leftovers with these delightful baked sliders! Sweet cranberry, savory turkey, and creamy Havarti unite in a symphony of flavors, all nestled within soft Hawaiian rolls.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. (Prep time: 5 minutes)
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, dried minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. (Prep time: 3 minutes)
Arrange the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls in the prepared baking pan. Spread mayonnaise evenly over the cut surfaces, followed by a layer of Dijon mustard (to taste). Spread the cranberry sauce over the mustard layer. Top with the shaved honey-roasted turkey, followed by half a slice of Havarti cheese on each roll. Add a generous sprinkle of fresh arugula. Place the top halves of the rolls over the fillings. Brush the melted butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. (Prep time: 15 minutes)
Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. (Bake time: 15 minutes)
Remove the foil and continue baking until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes more. (Bake time: 10-15 minutes)
Let cool slightly before serving.
