For a vegan option, substitute the butter with coconut oil or your favorite plant-based butter alternative. If you don't have fresh oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano can be used in the glaze. However, the fresh oregano sprigs are highly recommended for adding aroma and visual appeal. Feel free to experiment with other nuts! Walnuts or pecans would also be delicious. The glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat gently before using.
