For a deeper, richer flavor, toast the spices in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes before combining. Be careful not to burn them! Adjust the amount of ground red pepper to control the spiciness. A pinch of cayenne pepper can also be added for extra heat. If you don't have beef bouillon granules, you can substitute with an equal amount of beef broth concentrate or a half cube of beef bouillon, crushed. This seasoning blend is also delicious with ground turkey or chicken.
