Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes. (20 minutes)

03

Step

Add ground beef to the skillet and break it up with a spoon. Season with steak seasoning, garlic powder, herbes de Provence, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease. (10 minutes)

04

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, mayonnaise, and flour until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Stir the cooked ground beef mixture and 1 cup of the shredded Cheddar cheese into the egg mixture until well combined. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Pour the cheeseburger mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading evenly. (1 minute)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean and the quiche is golden brown. (45 minutes)

08

Step

Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Cheddar cheese over the top of the quiche and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. (10 minutes)

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the ground beef while cooking.
Feel free to substitute different cheeses, such as Gruyere, Monterey Jack, or a blend of your favorites.
If your pie crust is browning too quickly, loosely tent it with aluminum foil during the last 15-20 minutes of baking.
For a more pronounced onion flavor, caramelize the onions slowly over low heat for a deeper, sweeter taste.
