Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the glasses: On a small plate, combine the sugar and salt. Moisten the rims of two wine glasses with a lime wedge, then gently press the rims into the sugar-salt mixture to coat. Fill each glass with ice and garnish with an orange slice and a lime slice. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Mix the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the cranberry juice, tequila, Cointreau, orange juice, and lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Shake and strain: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled. (1 minute)

04

Step

Pour and top: Strain the mixture evenly into the prepared glasses. Top each glass with lemon-lime soda to fill. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!

For a sweeter margarita, add a splash of agave nectar to the shaker.
To make a larger batch, simply multiply the ingredients accordingly.
Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for an extra festive touch.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace the tequila and Cointreau with sparkling water or additional lemon-lime soda.
