Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, ranch dressing mix, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped pickled jalapeno pepper.

02

Step
2 hrs

Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated and the mixture is smooth and uniform. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to an airtight container.

04

Step

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and deepen. (2 hours)

05

Step

Before serving, give the dip a final stir. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers.

For a smoother dip, use full-fat sour cream.
Adjust the amount of jalapeno pepper to your preference for heat.
If you don't have pickled jalapenos, fresh jalapenos can be used, but be sure to remove the seeds and ribs for a milder flavor.
This dip can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Try adding a squeeze of fresh lime juice for an extra layer of flavor.
