For a richer flavor, use whole milk or add a splash of cream at the end of cooking. If you prefer a sweeter pudding, add more sugar to taste. To prevent a skin from forming on the surface of the pudding as it cools, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface. Experiment with different toppings such as fresh fruit, berries, chopped nuts, chocolate shavings, or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
