Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or large, deep saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (Approximately 10 minutes)

02

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined. (Approximately 2 minutes)

03

Step

Add the chopped cooked chicken to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until the chicken is evenly distributed throughout the filling. (Approximately 1 minute)

04

Step

Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean, dry work surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the chicken and cream cheese filling in the center of each wrapper.

05

Step

Lightly moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with water using your finger or a pastry brush. Fold one corner of the wrapper over the filling to meet the opposite corner, forming a triangle. Press the edges firmly together to seal, ensuring no air pockets remain.

06

Step

Carefully drop the wontons into the preheated oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the fryer. Fry until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking. (2 to 4 minutes per batch)

07

Step

Remove the fried wontons from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot and enjoy!

For a smoother filling, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
Adjust the seasonings to your preference, adding more or less onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, or soy sauce as desired.
Be careful not to overfill the wonton wrappers, as this can cause them to burst during frying.
If you don't have a deep-fryer, a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan works well for frying.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce, plum sauce, or soy sauce.
