For a more intense garlic flavor, mince the garlic very finely or use a garlic press.

Feel free to experiment with other herbs and spices in the dressing, such as fresh basil, mint, or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
To prevent the watermelon from becoming soggy, dress the salad just before serving.
