Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Steak: Cut the rib-eye steaks into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1-inch cubes. Place the steak bites in a resealable plastic bag. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Marinate the Steak: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, reduced-sodium soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar until well combined. Pour the marinade over the steak bites in the bag, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor. (35 minutes)

03

Step

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

04

Step

Prepare the Air Fryer Basket: Line the air fryer basket with a perforated parchment paper round to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Air Fry the Steak Bites: Remove the steak bites from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Arrange the steak pieces in a single layer on the prepared air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd. (3 minutes)

06

Step

Cook to Perfection: Air fry the steak bites for approximately 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through at the 3-minute mark to ensure even cooking. Adjust cooking time according to your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135 degrees F. (6 minutes)

07

Step

Garnish and Serve: Remove the air-fried steak bites from the basket and transfer them to a serving plate. Sprinkle generously with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!

For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
If you don't have sweet soy sauce, you can substitute with an equal amount of regular soy sauce mixed with 1 teaspoon of molasses or honey.
Ensure the steak bites are not overcrowded in the air fryer for best results. Cook in batches if necessary.
These steak bites are delicious served with a side of steamed broccoli or asparagus.
